Carrie Atelier Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, Claims & Taxes Policy
At Carrie Atelier, we design and deliver timeless accessories for your everyday luxury. We aim for your complete satisfaction and provide clear policies for shipping, returns, refunds, exchanges, claims, and import duties.
We offer worldwide shipping
US orders: We use UPS and USPS US orders. The shipping time is estimated between 2-5 business days.
International orders: We use UPS for international orders. The shipping time is estimated between 5-7 business days.
European Union: We offer standard shipping with DPD (3-6 business days). We also offer UPS (2-4 business days).
We do not refund shipping fees if carriers take longer to deliver than the estimated delivery times, as these are only estimates.
Return To Sender Parcels
If your parcel is being returned to Carrie Atelier, please reach out to our Customer Service team to arrange redelivery. Please note, redispatch fees may apply.
Stolen Parcels
It is the customer’s responsibility to nominate a safe and secure shipping address. Carrie Atelier are not liable for stolen or missing parcels, once the order has been successfully delivered to the nominated address.
Return Window
You have 14 days from receiving your order to initiate a return. All returns must be completed within 30 days of the purchase date.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, undamaged, and in resellable condition.
- Returns must include the original packaging, including the Carrie Atelier dust bag.
- Items returned in non-resellable condition may be rejected or sent back.
How to Request a Return
Email support@carrieatelier.com with:
- Your order number.
- Item(s) to return.
- Reason for return (optional).
We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
Refund Policy
Refunds are processed within 14 business days after we receive your return. Refunds are credited to the original payment method.
Please note:
- A $10 (or €10) return processing fee applies per return.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Only returns meeting our return conditions qualify for refunds.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original and place a new order.
Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled once processed.
Pricing & Discounts
- No price adjustments or price matching on full-price items that go on sale later.
- Discount codes cannot be applied after purchase.
Claims for Damaged or Faulty Products
If your product is damaged or faulty:
- Contact support@carrieatelier.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number and photos of the issue.
- We do not replace damaged outer boxes.
- Faulty items will be replaced or, if out of stock, you may join a waitlist or choose a different color.
Return Shipping Information
- Customers cover return shipping costs.
- Use tracked and insured shipping.
- No prepaid return labels provided.

Returns to Sweden must use DHL, UPS, or FedEx. Postal service returns are not accepted.
Taxes & Duties
- For customers in the European Union and the U.S.
All VAT and import fees are included in your purchase price. No additional fees apply at delivery. - For customers outside the EU and U.S.
VAT and import taxes are not included and may apply upon delivery. We recommend checking with your local customs office for details. - If you refuse to pay applicable import taxes or duties at delivery, Carrie Atelier will pay these fees to retrieve the shipment. These costs will be deducted from your refund as a restocking fee.
